In the world of “Blue Archai○”, honor student characters often have a side that values discipline and order and strives for perfection.

When I say that these characters need to be understood, I mean that it is interesting to depict scenes in which they face emotions and experiences that cannot be understood solely from their own values and worldview.

When normally calm and intelligent honor students are faced with a moment when their perfection and pride are destroyed, or when they become emotional due to an unexpected event, that gap can become attractive.

Legend: Honor student’s “Wakase” episode
Shiroko, an honor student at the academy, is always calm and trusted by everyone.
He is perfect in studies and sports, and is able to handle any difficult task with a calm mind.

However, he experiences an unexpected failure on one of his missions.
Shiroko is shocked to discover that she, who had been seen as perfect until now, made a mistake and caused trouble for the other students.

Afterwards, the protagonist (teacher) and his friends teach him that it’s okay to not be perfect, and the importance of accepting failure and using it as fuel to grow.
For the first time, she realizes the “beauty of imperfection” and the value of “cooperation with friends” that she had overlooked, and is moved by her emotions.

“Understanding” is depicted through the always calm Shiroko revealing her emotions and crying.

In this way, “Wakase” shows the moment when a character transcends their own perfection and discipline and realizes new values and emotions, and can be enjoyed as an element that deepens the character’s growth and humanity.
